Dad Differences

One of my dads is a multi-millionaire.
The other is a poor man. Why? Very simply,
it comes down to their respective attitudes
toward money and life. Take a look at the
differences... and think about
where you fit...

Gordon B.Hinckley.

I am no longer a young man filled with energy and vitality.
I'm given to meditation and prayer.I would enjoy sitting in a rocker;
swallowing presciptions, listening to soft music, and comtemplating the
things of the universe. But such activity offers no challenge and makes
no contribution.I wish to be up and doing.I wish to face each day with
resolution and purpose.I wish to use every waking hour to give encouragement,
to bless those whose burdens are heavy,to build faith and strength of testimony.
It is the presence of wonderful people which stimulates the adrenaline.
It is the look of love in their eyes which gives me energy.

Age Ninety-Two.

'For thy sweet love remembered, such wealth brings..."

When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf Heaven with my botless cries,
And look upon myself, and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featur'd like him,like him with friends possess'd,
Desireing this man's art,and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least:
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee,_and then my state
(Like to the lark at break of day raising
from sullen earth) sings hymns at the heaven's gate:
For thy sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That I scorn to change my state with the kings'.

Shakespeare's 29th Sonnet.

Funniest !
